Cancellation Policy

Fellow Feeling Foundation doesn't encourage cancellation of donations.

All donations are voluntary contributions made towards our charitable programs in education, disability empowerment, child nutrition, and community development. Once a donation is successfully processed, it is considered final and allocated to our ongoing initiatives.

As Fellow Feeling Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit company and does not sell any goods or services, there are no orders to cancel. Donations are not commercial transactions.

Your records and your data

Where a donation is cancelled before it completes, no 80G receipt is issued and the donation is not reported in Form 10BD. We keep the failed or cancelled transaction record for audit and fraud-prevention purposes for the period the Income-tax Act requires of us.

Any personal details you entered are processed under the notice given on the donation form. Details that were never tied to a completed, receipted donation are erased on request, where no law requires us to keep them. Details attached to a completed donation are retained for at least eight years, because tax law compels it; under Section 7 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 that is a legitimate use which continues regardless of consent.
