Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of this website, of our mobile applications, and any donation you make through either. By using the site or an app, or by donating, you accept them. They are governed by Indian law, and they sit alongside our Privacy Notice, which explains how we handle personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Donations

• All donations are voluntary charitable contributions. The minimum online donation is ₹100.
• No goods, services or benefits of any kind are supplied in exchange for a donation.
• A valid PAN is mandatory. Indian tax law does not permit us to issue an 80G receipt without one.
• You must be eighteen years of age or over to donate through this website.
• You must donate from funds lawfully belonging to you, using your own details. Donating on another person's behalf without telling us prevents us from issuing a correct receipt and may invalidate the 80G claim.
• Where you choose a programme, we apply your gift to that programme. If it is already fully funded or cannot proceed, we will apply the gift to a related programme and tell you.
• The Foundation applies funds at its discretion towards its stated charitable objects.

2. Donations from outside India

We accept contributions from Indian citizens and Indian entities only. We are not registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, and cannot lawfully accept foreign contributions, including from NRI accounts held abroad. If a foreign contribution reaches us in error we will return it. We will announce it here if this changes.

3. Receipts and tax benefit

An 80G receipt is issued once your payment is verified against our records. Deduction under Section 80G is subject to the limits and conditions of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and depends on your own tax position; we do not advise on it.

We are required to report donations to the Income Tax Department in Form 10BD, from which your Form 10BE certificate is generated after the annual filing. Our approval under Section 80G and registration under Section 12A are currently provisional, valid from AY 2026-27 to AY 2028-29.

4. Personal data

We process personal data as our Privacy Notice describes. In summary:

• We collect only what is needed to issue your receipt, make our statutory filings, and do the work you have asked us to do.
• Data collected for your 80G receipt and Form 10BD is processed because the law requires it, which under Section 7 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is a legitimate use. It cannot be erased on request while the law requires us to keep it.
• Anything optional, such as updates about our work, rests on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time as easily as you gave it.
• You may ask what we hold, have it corrected, nominate someone to act for you, and complain to us and then to the Data Protection Board of India.

5. Your undertakings

Section 15 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 places duties on you as well. When you use this site you undertake that you will not impersonate another person, that the details you give us are authentic and your own, that you will not suppress material information where the law requires it, and that you will not raise a false or frivolous grievance.

6. Use of this website

• You may download or print material from this site for non-commercial personal use, keeping every copyright notice intact.
• You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, repost or exploit the content commercially or publicly without our written permission.
• Content on this site is proprietary to the Foundation unless marked otherwise.
• Photographs of people we have helped are published only with their consent and may not be copied or reused.

7. Use of our mobile applications

The Foundation publishes an Android application, FFF Admin, for the use of its trustees and authorised staff. It is not a public application. These terms apply to it in the same way they apply to this website.

• We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable and revocable permission to use the app for the Foundation's work, and for nothing else.
• Accounts are issued by the Foundation. Your account is yours alone — do not share it, and do not let anyone else sign in as you. Tell us at once if you think your password is known to someone else.
• Everything you do in the app is recorded against your name in an audit trail, including changes to cases and to donation records.
• You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer or modify the app, nor use automated means to access it.
• Information you see in the app about donors and about the people we help is confidential. Do not copy it, photograph it, or pass it to anyone outside the Foundation.
• We may suspend or withdraw your access at any time, and will do so when you stop working with the Foundation.
• We may release updates. Some updates are needed for the app to keep working.
• The app is distributed through Google Play. Google is not a party to these terms, is not responsible for the app, and provides no warranty or support for it. Any claim about the app is between you and the Foundation.
• The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be free of faults or always available.

8. Security and payments

Payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never see or store your card number, CVV or net-banking credentials. Every payment is verified on our server before a receipt is issued; a confirmation shown in your browser alone is not proof of a completed donation.

9. Accuracy and liability

We use reasonable efforts to keep the information on this site accurate, but it is provided as is and without warranty. To the extent Indian law permits, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from use of this site, including from interruption, viruses or downloads.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Refunds and cancellation

Donations are ordinarily final. Our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy set out the limited circumstances in which a donation may be reversed, and what happens to a receipt already issued.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms. The version and date at the top will change when we do. Where a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will update the Privacy Notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
